Today I saw a lovely picture of a Japanese craftman’s stand that he was using to display his Greenland paddles for sale. This inspired me to turn a couple of off cuts of quarter inch plywood into a similar rack to bring order to the chaos of my kayak shed.
The six Greenland paddles are mine. One is hidden in a fleece bag as it is a double top secret hush hush Novorca concept that I would be shot if I revealed to the general public. The two graffiti paddles are my daughters’ Werner Sprites and the other euro blade is my good lady J’s Werner Kaliste – still working to convert her to the GP. The cranked carbon Werner at the bottom of the rack is my old paddle before I regressed in time and joined the “traditionalists”
