I am delighted to announce that Qajaq Rolls will be at Canoecopia 2013 in Madison WI. If you are not familiar with the event, it is billed as the largest consumer paddlesports event in the world with 20,000 anticipated visitors this year.
We will be sharing a booth with Novorca the Carbon Fiber Custom Greenland Paddle maker from Minnesota. You can find us at Booth C2 in the main exhibition hall. Look for the big Qajaq Rolls Flag.
Come and find us at the booth to discuss rolling, learn about new training techniques, and pick up a copy of the Rolling with Sticks DVD and Guidebook show package at a special show discount.
Also I am delighted to announce that I will be leading two Greenland Rolling demos in the pool at Canoecopia: Saturday 2pm and Sunday 1:30pm in the Clarion Hotel Pool.
These demonstrations will focus on providing people the stepping stone skills necessary to begin the traditional Greenland style rolls including lay back rolls like the Standard Greenland Roll, and forward finishing rolls like the Reverse Sweep.
Note: Pool sessions have a limit of 99 attendees for each time slot. Because pool demos are so popular, Canoecopia ask everyone to vacate the pool after each program. This allows Canoecopia to regulate the number of spectators and gives those in line the opportunity to enjoy the next demonstration. Thanks for your cooperation.
