I migrated my RSS feed to Feedburner to fix the issues I had previously with my broken feed. Feedburner provides an email subscription capability which I have now linked to through my “Find me here” section on the right of the blog, you can also sign up here 
to receive new posts via email so you don’t have to check to here see if I have posted anything relevant anymore.
