Today I am driving from MN to MI to pick up the new Tahe Greenland kayak. I left home at 4:23am and just arrive at the ferry terminal in Milwaukee on the shore of lake Michigan. The drive was very uneventful, apart from the last 10 miles into the city which was grid locked due to construction. There was mist covering the road first thing but the sun burnt it off quickly and the temperature has risen to the upper 60s (it started out at 39F). My car is second in line to board the ferry so I hope that means a quick exit when we get to MI. I have a three hour drive across MI to Ann Arbor this afternoon, and then dinner with some friends.
Time for a nap until they board the ferry.
