We finally closed on the cabin at the end of the year, and now we have started the destruction before the construction, Many internal walls are coming down, doors moving, windows being replaced and a whole kitchen replacement. Plus rewiring the whole place, and so the list goes on.
The 50 degrees of frost we have been living through has not been conducive of much progress, but plans have been finalized and next weekend we will continue the destruction unabated.
We look out of the window occasionally to remind ourselves why we bought the place, it certainly wasn’t for the cabin, but you cant beat the view (once the snow and ice melts). the half falling down shack on the right of the picture is the future kayak and canoe store that needs a lot of TLC.
