New edition of Masik available

As I mentioned in my last post I am a supporter of Qajaq USA and its mission. This week a new edition of the organization’s newsletter was released for download. The newsletter is called Masik. Masik is the traditional Inuit name for the wooden beam in a kayak that rests upon the thighs of the paddler and facilitates many rolling techniques. This edition of the newsletter contains many interesting articles that should appeal to people who are interested in the traditional paddling scene. You can link on the image to download it.
I was particularly interested in the picture of page 50  which shows the size that the Avataq needs to be. This will give me some good guidance when I make Baby Avataq a big brother (or sister).
