You may have noticed on the Novorca web site Ron S is talking about his top secret work to develop a new method of joining a two piece paddle, yesterday after signing the appropriate NDA I got my hands on the first one and Ron and I took it for a test paddle, it is rock solid. Its design is stunning in its simplicity, definitely worth the work. Ron’s design is in my mind a breakthrough in paddle design, nothing like the traditional plunger design or the Lendal lock, he is applying for a patent and then will be unleashing them on the Greenland Community.
The paddle does raise a question in my mind though, which is better; my 86 inch by 3 inch, or an 84 inch by 3.25 inch….. maybe I need both
