This weekend I drove the family four hours north to Bemidji to visit the in-laws. A storm had come through recently and devastated their land, knocking down over one hundred trees (they have over 100 acres of pasture and woodland). We spent an exhausting Saturday hauling 14 trailer loads of timber off their driveway, and clearing their yard so that the house felt more like a home and less like a war zone. We stayed at Rutgers Resort on Lake Bemidji so after we were done for the day I took the Tahe out for some rolling practice.
I needed the physical therapy to stretch out the tight muscles, my body is not used to that much physical activity.
Rolling is also a time for me to clear my mind. I needed that as I was in an unhappy place. The rolling worked, and life is good.
