Paddling upside down is a fairly simple trick to perform but it has no clear purpose. I have seen videos of people using this technique to video fish. But mainly it is performed in Greenland rolling competitions and judged based upon distance traveled. Remember when paddling upside down to leave a few moments of hang time to roll up when you are done.
