This is a roll for the Tuilik wearers amongst us. In order to perform this you will need to be able to get out of your traditional seated position in the kayak and rotate your legs within the cockpit. I can’t see how this would be possible without the flexibility that the Tuilik provides. The Petrussen Maneuver was discovered by an unfortunate paddler who capsized in very cold water and was unable to roll up. He hung in this position until he was rescued by a group of hunters paddling by. Or so the legend goes. This position requires more effort to hold than a balance or static brace but I can see how if your roll failed you it might be a good way to rest and try again.
