With the introduction of Microsoft’s new operating system Windows 8 I have been experimenting with new PC’s with touch screens. I am currently using a Lenovo Yoga, which is a 13 inch convertible laptop and slate solution. My only reason for having a Mac on my desk has been for video editing, I have really enjoyed using FinalCutPro which is the professional video editing suite that a large number of video editors use.
This weekend I attached a GoPro Black edition to the edge of the swimming pool while practicing a few rolls and shot some 120FPS 720 video. When I got home I thought it would be fun to try editing it on Windows for a change. I downloaded a trial version of Corel VideoStudio Pro. I found the interface very intuitive and am loving the results so far.
