This evening we had the pleasure of attending the first performance in North America of Benjamin Britten’s Temporal Variations for Oboe & Strings. It was performed by the Greater Grand Forks Symphony, with Philip McKenzie on oboe. Philip is the boy friend of a long time girl friend of my wife.
