Ron and I paddled the Chain of Lakes today, starting at the south end of Lake Calhoun and then circumnavigating Lake of the Isles, Cedar Lake and Brownie Lake. The weather was fabulous, low 70F air temp , the water temp still required us to be in Dry Suits. I recorded video of a lot of the trip including the sections where you go through what is basically a large storm drain to get into and out of Brownie lake, the picture below is a snapshot from the recording:
Roughly ten miles today, exactly what we needed to get ourselves in shape for Superior in 8 days time.
